Bali the picturesque seaside respite

A province of the Philippines, Bali, is the tourist haven. The numbers of tourists that visit the island suggest the golden opportunities the island has to offer to the visitors that flock to the island during their vacations. The busiest period on the island is during the European summer and Christmas vacations, making it all the more necessary to book your desired Bali Holiday Packages well on time.

The culture of Bali is particularly influenced by the Indian (Hindu) and Chinese cultures. Evidence of the following is found in their Art and crafts, temples and cuisine.

The fauna found on the island is a mix of the Asian and Australian varieties, also known as the Australasian influence.

The main attractions in the Bali wild life are the wild Banteng and leopard. But sadly the Bali leopard is only found on java where as the Wild Banteng is still found on the Bali island. Worse is the extinction of the Bali tiger known to be the most majestic animal of the island. But today this tiger is not found in its natural habitat any more.  The same story is repeated with the saltwater crocodiles, which too no longer are found on the island. This is a factor of dismay for all the animal kingdom lovers that would have enjoyed the beauty of the extinct animals had they existed.

The coral reefs around the beautiful coasts of the island are a wonderful site to experience. The Dolphins are a delight to watch as they play in the midst of the waves in the sea. These beautiful creatures are known to be very friendly and the playful nature of these huge fishes simply rolls out the stress in your bodies. The other marine life to watch out for during your vacations and experience of the best Bali Honeymoon Packages, are the Hammerhead Sharks. These sharks have a distinctive feature of having a head shaped as a hammer, from where the shark gets its name. These sharks love the warmer waters along coastlines. They are known to be solitary hunters but only at night as they remain in schools during the day time.  The other marine creatures found here are the Hawksbill Turtle, Giant Sunfish and the Reef Shark.

Bali is also known for its exotic fruits, not to forget the coconuts to indulge in while on the sand stretches of the coastlines.
